KYAPA contractors urge Pachwa residents to petition against missing power extension in some Villages

Residents of Pachwa Sub County in Kagadi district have been advised to petition against Chinese Construction Project doubled TBEA Company Limited over missing Power extension in some Parts of their previous demarcated areas.

It is remembered that five months ago the Chinese Construction Project doubled TBEA Company Limited in conjunction with Rural Electrification Agencies spent  two days surveying , demarcating and allocating electricity transformers in Sub counties of Kagadi district.

The advice was sounded last evening by Mr. Richard Lubega the consultant for KYAPA general enterprises limited that contracted to extend power in areas of Pachwa sub counties during a village meeting that was organized by the Buyaga East Member of Parliament Musana Eric Acaali.

According the Area Lc3 Chairperson on behalf of residents John Biribonwa, Pachwa Sub County was supposed to get 61 electricity poles instead of 20, leaving some other busy streets out of the program.

In response Mr. Richard Lubega advised residents to petition against the act to Rural electrification Agency (REA) before contractor’s starts their work of extending power in proposed Areas.

The Buyaga east member of parliament Musana Eric Acaali asked residents to be calm saying as government officials they are distributing power in phases.

He further assured residents of Pachwa sub county, power extension coverage in all villages of their Sub County before this year ends.
