Kyenjojo man arrested for burring his son alone in the forest

Police in Kagadi is holding a 39 year old man on allegations of burying his daughter, Grace Musiimenta aged 8  in Kangombe forest reserve around River Muzizi   in Karalike cell, Muhorro town council.

The suspect has been identified as Mbabazi Jackson, a resident of Mukinyansi village, Nyankwanzi Sub County in Kyenjojo district.

Mbabazi said his daughter died on the away to Kagadi hospital for treatment but failed to transport the body back home due to lack of transport.

He was forced to bury the body of his daughter temporarily, seeking help from relatives.

The arrest of Jackson Mbabazi was caused by his relatives and in-laws who demanded the whereabouts of the child (deceased).

Jackson Mbabazi had taken away three children from their mother (his wife) who had divorced and staying in Kyakabugahya cell, Kagadi town council.

The district police commander Kagadi, Stephen Kamar led the police officers to exhume the body of Grace Musiimenta but could not comment on the matter.

The body of Grace Musiimenta was taken for burial in Kyakabugahya cell, Kagadi town council.
