Kagadi-The NRM flag bearer for Kagadi district LC5 chairperson, Ndibwami B Yosia has been duly nominated to contest in the 2021 general elections.
He was nominated on Tuesday at the Kagadi district electoral commission offices by the district returning officer Robert Twikirize.
The incumbent LC5 chairperson Kagadi, Stephen Byaruhanga Mfashingabo was also nominated yesterday to run as an independent candidate in the general election.
Speaking to journalists after his nomination, Ndibwami appreciated voters in Kagadi for supporting him during the NRM primaries and requested them to remain courageous during the general election.
Ndibwami promises to spearhead economic development of the district.
Ndibwami was accompanied by the chairperson NRM Kagadi District, Omukwenda Mulumba Ali.
Mulumba advised the people of Kagadi District to rally behind only NRM flag bearers in order to strengthen the party.
