Followers of the faith of unity are marking 40 years when Owobusobozi Bisaka healed the first person by touching.
Bisaka touched a sick person, a young girl, and she was instantly healed on 22 February 1980.
She had been reportedly bewitched.
According to Omukwenda Munyaneza, the overseer for the followers (Abaikiriza) of the faith of unity in Bugangaizi West constituency Kakumiro district, the day is celebrated on 22 February every year.
Munyaneza further urged followers (Abaikiriza) to initiate income generating projects to improve on their household incomes and be able to educate their children.
