Police in Muhorro Town council, Kagadi district has arrested a woman for allegedly dumping her one month old-baby boy nearby a saloon in Muhorro town,Kagadi district.
Police have identified the suspect as Tumusiime Mary aged 22 a born of Kyaka village in Kyegegwa district who has been residing at Kitebere landing site in Ndaiga Sub County, Kagadi district.
It is said that the baby was found by good Samaritans who were waiting a passenger Bus and decided to take care of the baby until police was alerted.
Police apprehended the suspect in Kyaterekera Sub County with the help of her X-boyfriend identified as Byaruhanga Rwakijuma.
The suspect (Tumusiime) was detained at Muhorro police station.
The officer in charge Muhorro police station, Paul Bwewayo confirmed the arrest of Mary Tumusiime.
