Two people have been confirmed dead while 15 others were seriously hurt in a car crash at Nabbingo, Kyengera Town Council along Kampala-Masaka highway.
Mr Richard Kakooza, one of the eyewitnesses told this reporter that a lorry
truck transporting sand from Lwera swamp in Masaka to Kampala collided with a
minibus that was transporting passengers to Masaka at around 1pm today.
The victims were taken to Mulago national referral hospital.
A traffic police officer found at the scene but asked not to be named because
he’s not authorized to speak to journalists told Daily Monitor that they are
investigating the cause of the accident.
