Godfrey Muwonge Kasanga, the chairperson public accounts committee for Kibaale district has resigned as he eyes to contest on the LC5 Kibaale seat come 2021.
The resignation letter dated 4th march 2020 was seen by our journalists last evening, and was received from the office of the Kibaale district local government central registry.
The letter reads in part that he is unable to continue with the office due to equally pressing engagements and to allow him prepare for the forthcoming elections. He says he has done this in good faith
