COVID-19 CRISIS: Police gets Justice Mission donation worth UGX28M

The International Justice Mission (IJM) has on Wednesday, May 13 donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worth 28 million Uganda Shillings to the Uganda Police towards Covid-19 fight.

IJM is involved in fighting violence against women and children in various parts of Uganda

The items included 1500 N95 face masks and 50 boxes of Gloves.

These were received at the Uganda Police Headquarters, Naguru by SP Okino Cyprian on behalf of Director Chief Political Commissar, AIGP Asan Kasingye

They have also dedicated 2 of their company vehicles to be used by police in Gulu and Kabarole Districts during this period.

Mr James Foster, Country Director, International Justice Mission, pledged more support to the UPF in future.
