Pastor Emmanuel Bwambale formerly (Asaba Ayubu Born of Nyaruziba) of Synagogue all nations’ church in Kagadi district has been arrested on allegations of procuring abortion, threatening violence and obtaining money falsely.
The arrest followed a report of mistreatment by followers to the office of Resident District Commissioner over alleged sexual acts and forcing them to abort after conceiving, corning, intimidation and even worshiping “Lucifer”.
He was arrested yesterday afternoon and is currently detained at Kagadi Central Police station.
Among the complainants who are also his followers are Immaculate Pretty who aborted once and Beatrice Sanyu twice all he forced to abort after impregnating them.
Others are Denis Tumusiime, Charles Ssebucu, Robert Asiimwe, Peter Nkurunzinza among others whom he falsely obtained money from.
They demands that he should pay them and release their souls from his Lucifer, the demy gods he allegedly worships.
When contacted while at RDC’s office yesterday afternoon, Pastor Emmanuel Bwambale denied the accusations saying all is indented to tarnish his image and take his church by people he did not mention.
However, this did not stop the Kagadi RDC Lillian Ruteraho from handing him over to Police for detention as investigations into matter commence.
Meanwhile the DPC Kagadi CPS Steven Kamar identified Pastor Emmanuel as aged 33 years a resident of Nyaruziba A village in Kiraba ward Kagadi town council Kagadi district but operating his church business in the industrial area of Kagadi town council.
Kamar appeals the general public to be careful of mass roaming born again churches saying some are targeting wealth from them.
