Kibaale Town Council authorities are expecting to receive a sh25 billion project from World Bank for the construction of a standard market in Karuguuza town, Kibaale district.
According to Joseph Saazi, the LC 3 Chairperson Kibaale Town Council, with the help and support of the area MP who is also Minister for Finance Matia Kasaija, a modern and stored market that is expected to seat on 2.5 to 3 acres of land to enhance development.
He says that they tend to shift the taxi park to the now Karuguuza daily market to pave way for the new market standardized market which is proposed to be constructed in the taxi park yard, but all that will rely on cooperation and a mutual understanding between stakeholders.
It’s on this note that the Principal Town Clerk Deo Karali Gafabusa expressed the need for area Councilors to mobilize the community to embark on hard work and produce enough to serve the market.
