Kagadi-Team Thorough, a group that dismantled former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi’s structures In June 2015, has returned to canvas votes for Museveni and NRM flag bearers.
The group started on a mission to dismantle structures that the former Prime Minister had always boasted of, on top of luring members on Mbabazi’s team to start working with Museveni
On sunday, Team Thorough launched door to door campaign to canvas votes for president Museveni and NRM flag bearers in Kagadi.
Door to door campaign was launched at Devine gardens in Kagadi town council by, Stephen Nkuuna, the Kagadi district coordinator Team thorough.
Nkuuna said their target is to weaken opposition and independent candidates.
He said Kagadi district has 12,000 registered members of Team Thorough from villages, parishes, sub-counties, constituencies, and district levels,
Nkuuna cautioned members of Team Thorough and NRM members at large against violating the doctrines of NRM party by supporting Independent candidates.
Members of Team Thorough from different sub counties and town councils of Kagadi district promised to work tirelessly to dismantle opposition and independent candidates in order to strengthen NRM party.
