Kenga residents demand health Centre in their area to access health services

Residents of Kagadi Sub County are demanding the leadership of Kagadi district to construct a health centre in their area for them to access health services.

Residents revealed this last evening in a meeting held at Rwamabale trading centre in Busirabo parish organized by Kagadi general hospital with the aim of knowing challenges faced by residents concerning health services.

Residents said the distance to Kagadi hospital and Muhorro health center is far for them to access health services asking the district to construct a health center for them.

Responding to their concern, Situma Peter who is the district health inspector said as Kagadi general hospital they will strengthen of community outreach every Fridays of the second week in a month as the government plans to construct a health facility.

Situma said the government introduced the program of health workers visiting communities to see how their challenges can be addressed saying the program is to continue to others sub counties to know their challenges for attention.
