Kagadi District Excels in 2024 PLE Results

Primary schools in Kagadi District have shown remarkable improvement in the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), according to results released by UNEB yesterday afternoon.

A mini-survey conducted by our reporters reveals a significant rise in overall performance compared to 2023.

Leading the district, Quality Education Center topped the charts with 25 Candidates scoring Division One and nine in Division Two.

Their top candidate achieved an impressive 6 aggregates.

Other notable performances include:Stella Maris Primary School with 12 Candidates in Division One, six in Division Two, with their best scoring 8 aggregates.

Mother Care Primary School had 18 in Division One, 16 in Division Two, and a top score of 7 aggregates.

Other schools, such as Ruteete Primary School, Kitegwa Model Primary School, and Kagadi Parents School, also reported significant progress.

Notably, Precious Moments Primary School Mabale registered 10 Candidates in Division One and 28 in Division Two.

In Government Aided Primary Schools, Kagadi Model Primary School had 65 candidates, 4 in Division One, and 61 in Division Two.

Bishop Rwakaikara Primary School had 82 candidates, with 2 in Division One, 70 in Division Two, and 10 in Division Three.

In Kibaale District, St. Julie Model Nursery and Primary School Buseesa emerged as the top performer, with all 33 candidates achieving Division One.

The best three candidates – John Baptist Kuteesa Odama, Charles Kwesiga Jerome, and Pascal Mugabe – each scored 4 aggregates.

Following closely, Kibaale Parents Nursery and Primary School had 26 Candidates in Division One, while Holy Angels-Kibeedi registered 22 in Division One.

Among Government Aided Primary Schools, Nyamarunda Primary School topped them with 2 Candidates in Division One and 27 in Division Two.

Kibeedi Primary School, all 34 Candidates Passed in Division Two.

Kikangahara Primary School got 33 in Division Two, 18 in Division Three, and 4 in Division Four.

Head teachers across the district have attributed this success to collaboration among parents, teachers, and students.
