The Minister of Internal Affairs, Gen. Kahinda Otafiire, has praised the aspiring Member of Parliament for Buyaga East Constituency, Hon. Twesige Stephen Rulekere, as an intelligent, hardworking, and visionary leader who does not engage in tribalism or sectarianism.
Otafiire made the remarks on sunday 09 March 2025 while speaking at a fundraising event for the construction of a clergy house at Nyaigana Archdeaconry in Kyanaisoke Sub-county, Kagadi District.
He called on the people of Kagadi to vote out failed leaders to ensure better service delivery and development in the district.
During the fundraising event, over 53 million shillings was collected to support the clergy house project.
Religious leaders, community members, and local politicians attended the event, showing strong support for the initiative.
