Jackline Alinaitwe has emerged victorious in the 10th African Rural University (ARU) Guild Presidential Elections, securing 29 out of 45 votes.
Jackline Alinaitwe was elected yesterday 08 July 2024.
In her acceptance speech, she expressed gratitude to the students and electoral committee, promising to implement the university’s constitution and amplifying the student’s voice.
Alinaitwe pledged to promote ARU’s education model through community engagement.
She emphasized unity, student welfare, co-curricular activities, and community involvement as key priorities.
