World Vision Uganda Concludes 15-Year Mission in Kagadi District, Urges Sustainability

After 15 years of dedicated service, World Vision Uganda has today 27th August 2024 officially concluded its operations in Kagadi district.

The organization has been instrumental in promoting children’s rights, improving hygiene and sanitation, and combating domestic violence in Kiryanga, Pachwa, Kicucuura and Kabamba sub counties.

At a ceremony marking the end of their mission at Bugwara primary school in Kicucuura Sub County, James Kaahwa Businge the Head of World Vision Uganda, urged beneficiaries and local leaders to sustain the achievements attained over the past decade and a half.

Lillian Ruteraho, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Kagadi, was the chief guest at the event.

She expressed gratitude to World Vision Uganda for their tireless efforts and requested that they remain supportive to the local government in Kagadi district, even after their official departure.

World Vision Uganda’s legacy in Kagadi district is marked by significant improvements in the lives of children and families.
