Residents of Kiguhyo LC1 in Mugarama Sub County Kibaale district have been left in panic after desert locusts, which have been causing havoc in different regions, spread to their district.
It is reported that the desert Locusts were seen today afternoon in their area.
With the invasion of locusts, residents are worried that they are likely to face severe food shortage since they have started destroying their plantations.
They are requesting the Government authorities to intervene and come to their rescue.
