Uganda Rural Development Training institute in Kagadi town council, Kagadi district has registered better performance in Directorate of Industrial training-DIT 2019 Exams.
Speaking to our reporter today, Stephen Kirumira the principle of URDT institute said they registered 22 students for DIT exams.
Kirumira says URDT institute has started a new program called modular for adult and young people who did not reach higher levels of education but with skills in vocation to be trained and be awarded by DIT with certificates.
He further said that URDT institute currently is offering full bursaries to students who past Math, English, Geography, Physics, and Agriculture to study up to a diploma level.
However he say’s girls who are willing to study plumbing, brick laying and concrete practice and motorcycle mechanics receive full bursaries.
