Kagadi -Kagadi Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party district secretary for people with disabilities on Monday 27 07 2020 defected to National Resistance Movement-NRM party.
Byamukama Vincent, a resident of Nankulabye cell, Kagadi town council had been opposing the ruling government since 2003.
According to Byamukama, he started opposing the ruling government after realizing that it had neglected people with disabilities.
“I wanted to force government to cater for people with disabilities,” said Byamukama
Byamukama is optimistic that the NRM government will buy for him a motorcycle to help him in running his business of repairing Jericans.
”I will be contented if I get a motorcycle to run my businesses, “he added.
Byamukama was money morning welcomed by the RDC-Lillian Ruteraho and Kagadi district woman MP Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi at the RDCs offices in Kagadi town.
Ruteraho Lillian promised that the government of Uganda will buy a motorcycle for Byamukama.
Meanwhile, Hon. Janepher Mbabazi Kyomuhendo told Byamukama that parliament is discussing on the possibilities to reinstate money for people with disabilities.
