President Yoweri Museveni has praised the believers of the Faith of Unity for their dedication to fostering unity in diversity, a core principle embraced by the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
In a statement delivered by Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs in the Office of the NRM National Chairman Last Evening (Thursday), President Museveni emphasized the significance of unity in driving prosperity and national progress.
Namyalo presented various gifts, including agricultural and vocational tools, on behalf of President Museveni, aimed at empowering members of the Faith of Unity and encouraging self-development.
Speaking during the celebration marking 44 years since Owobusobozi Bisaka performed his first healing at Kapyemi headquarters in Muhorro town council, Kagadi District, Bisaka reiterated the faith’s commitment to promoting oneness among communities, highlighting its growing international presence.
Bisaka expressed gratitude to followers for their obedience and support for President Museveni’s initiatives, acknowledging the positive impact the government has had on Ugandans.
Founded by Owobusobozi Bisaka in 1980, the Faith of Unity has expanded to over 4000 branches (Amatabiro) and 35 zones (Obukwenda) globally, all connected to the Kapyemi headquarters.
