Bunyoro Kitara Youth Initiative for development on Wednesday 29 01 2020 recognized and awarded twenty (20) best Performing Kagadi pupils at 2019 PLE under its Bunyoro education fund.
Bunyoro education fund best performers Award was inaugurated today at Devine Guest House, with an aim of encouraging better performance to the students in Kagadi District.
The beneficiaries were selected from town councils and Sub-Counties of Buyaga East Constituency, where each lower local government selected two best performing UPE Candidates a boy and a girl.
Each pupil was given a 4 inch mattress and school case.
According to the executive director of Bunyoro Kitara Youth Initiative for development, Dr. Diini Kisembo Emmanuel, the scholastic materials cost over 4m shillings.
Dr. Diini Kisembo Emmanuel, who is the aspiring MP Buyaga East constituency, says the selection was done by the district education department.
While handover the school items to the parents/guardians and candidates at Devine Guest in Kagadi Town Council Kagadi District today, Dr Diini Kisembo Emmanuel said the donation aims at improving education standards and performance in Buyaga East constituency and Kagadi district at large.
After receiving the school items, the beneficiaries thanked Dr. Diini Kisembo Emmanuel for supporting them to continue with education.
Meanwhile, parents applauded Dr. Kisembo Diini for giving back to the community.
