The RDC Kagadi, Lillian Ruteraho has asked people who are illegally residing around the landing sites of Lake Albert in Ndaiga Sub County to vacate those places or else have them forcefully evicted.
She says the Government has decided to close at least 61 landing sites on Lake Albert in Kagadi, Hoima, Buliisa and Kikuube districts to stop the risk of foreigners with Covid-19 entering the country.
She says Kagadi district has no gazzatted landing sites.
Speaking to our reporter last evening, Ruteraho also disclosed that the government is not ready to give relief those affected by floods on the shores of Lake Albert because they termed as the encroachers.
