Kyenjojo-Unidentified assailants have killed a man in Kyenjojo district.
The deceased is Patrick Batalingaya aged 42, a resident of Mirambi cell, Mabira town council in Kyenjojo district.
Ibrahim Basali, the Officer in charge Kyenjojo police station, says the deceased left home on Friday evening to buy coffee but did not return.
This prompted his wife, Rose Kembabazi to report the matter to police.
He however, says the deceased’s lifeless body was found dumped along the Mirambi road
Ibrahim says the body had deep cuts.
Police visited the crime scene with a sniffer dog and managed to arrest a woman to help in investigation.
Rose Kembabazi attributes her husband’s death to conflicts among clan members.
The Mayor, Mabira town, Stephen Madivani has condemned the brutal murder of Patrick Batalingaya and asked residents to always report their concerns to their respective leaders instead of taking into their hands.
