The state Minister for Public Service David Karubanga has advised Christians and the general public against lavish spending as they celebrate Christmas and New Year festivals.
Karubanga who is also the Kigorobya county Member of Parliament explains that despite being spending period, people need to spend within their means and also keep some money to cater for other needs after the season.
He said it was good practice for families to always prepare a budget to help with money management during Christmas season.
Karubanga who wished everyone happy celebrations also cautioned the public against deviating from the main objective of the day.
