Amara cup 2020 first edition for Buyaga East Constituency has been launched at Bugwara Play ground in Kiryanga Sub County, Kagadi district.
The tournament which was launched yesterday includes football and Net ball teams.
The winners will take a premo registration number UBG 269G and Bajaji Motor cycle for Netball winners.
Trophies and other Prizes have been already set up.
The launch was attended by hundreds of soccer lovers from Kagadi, Kibaale and Kakumiro districts.
While addressing the gathering, the Kibaale district Lcv Chairperson who doubles as the organizer of the tournament Amara Peter Salongo says, the tournament is intended to thank the people of Buyaga East for voting him as the Lc5 Chairperson for Kibaale the greater.
He says it is also intended to prepare him for the 2020-2021 elections as a Member of Parliament for Buyaga East Constituency.
Amara further handed over the Vehicle to the district football Association (DFA) Kagadi till the tournament ends.
Meanwhile Footballers and Netballers have vowed to compete for it.
Atotal of 75 teams, 25 Netball and 50 football registered for the tournament.
