At least 14 people have been critically injured in an accident involving a bus belonging to Hoima Coaches at Kyabatalya village in Buhimba Sub County, Kikuube district along Hoima-Kagadi highway.
Eyewitnesses told our reporters that the accident occurred after a bus Reg No UAK 278N failed to break and veered off the road.
The bus which was carrying several refugees was heading to Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Kikuube district from Hoima.
The refugees were from Hoima Regional Referral hospital.
The accident occurred in an area where there was heavy traffic flow as thousands of believers of the Faith of Unity were escorting Owobusobozi Bisaka to Bukwiri in Kyankwanzi district.
The injured were rushed to Hoima Regional Referral hospital.
