Residents of Kiryanga Sub County in Kagadi district have been warned against domestic violence which has resulted into loss of lives in families.
The call has been made by Nsungwa Letcia from World Vision during the burial ceremony for the late Mugarura Faustin who died aged 63 in Nyamiringa lc1 Kiryanga Sub County Kagadi district.
She appealed residents to always approach relevant authorities to have their family issues resolved amicably than resorting to fighting.
According to Kasangaki James the LC1Chairman Nyamirindi, say’s the incident happened on Tuesday this week when Njerite Mukarobilite fought her husband using an axe which she used to hit him in the chest leading to his death following disagreements.
The suspect is currently detained at Kiryanga police station a waiting to be transferred to Kagadi central police station.
