4 Faith of unity places of worship closed in Kagadi over prohibited prayers

Police in Kagadi District last evening closed 4 faith of unity worship places following the presidential directive which was released on Wednesday prohibiting all public gatherings in the country.

According to the DPC Kagadi Steven Kamar,  the they were informed that the faith of unity believers decided to go for prayers yesterday 22rd March 2020 since it was their day in regards to the days of worship on calendar defying the president directive of stopping the public from going to church, bars and other public places.

Kamar further said that during their operation, several faith of unity worship places (Amatambiro) were closed among others Kyomunembe, Nyamiti, Mambugu and Kateete.

Kamar says the operation continued to places like Kabuga Village in Muhorro Sub County where they closed a bar and directed the rest of the bars attendants to vacate the Premises.

In Nyambeho village, Muhorro Sub County, they arrested one person over the matter and will be against defiance.

He however, ASP Kamar asked residents to follow the ban instructions of the 32 days since it takes a short Period of time.

But when our reporter contacted Omukwenda Alinaitwe the in charge of Kapyemi the headquarters on his telephone number immediately referred us to Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka the founder for the faith of Unity.
