Three people have been killed in a land dispute in Kyenjojo district.
One of the deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Edson Katusabe, a resident of Rwabusonga trading center in Nyamango LC 1 in Kyenjojo town council.
Katusabe was reportedly killed on Tuesday by his brother only identified as Tusiime, a Boda boda rider at Kyenjojo General Hospital stage with the aid of his two sons because of a feud over family land.
When the news of Katusabe’s murder spread, residents ganged up and lynched Tusiime’s children.
The Kyenjojo District Police Commander, Julius Baganzi confirmed the incident, saying they have already commenced investigations into the matter.
“True we have an incident of murder and mob in the district and we have since embarked on investigating both incidents,” Baganzi said. He however, said no arrest has been made in connection to the incidents.
The deceased’s bodies are lying at Kyenjojo General Hospital mortuary
pending postmortem.
