Teaching Learners from home via Kagadi-Kibaale Community Radio set to start today

The Kagadi district Education department team yesterday confirmed that teaching Learners from home at Kagadi Kibaale Community Radio is scheduled to start today 27th April 2020.

While appearing live on KKCR last evening, the District Education Officer Kagadi Bartholomew Bukenya said self-study workbooks will be released soon to all learners in different parts of the district following the program arrangement.

The inspector of Schools Kagadi Julius Alinda confirmed that the teachers are willing to do the work and lessons will be taught basing on topics for the term according to the teaching syllabus.

He appeals to parents to do the work that the teachers have been doing while teaching students at school by guiding them and being attentive during radio class time.

Speaking to the public through a radio program at KKCR 91.7FM, LC5 Chairperson Kagadi Byaruhanga Stephen Mfashingabo commended the Uganda Rural Development and Training Program and Radio Management for the good work done more especially in helping the entire community.

He encouraged parents to guide learners as they tune to the radio attentively during the class time from 2pm to 4:10pm.
