Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom (BKK) officials have on Thursday met the Prime Minister of Uganda Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja and a team of CNOOC Uganda officials who were led by Mr. Chen Zhuobiao, the President CNOOC Uganda Limited.
The BKK team was led by the Prime Minister Owek. Andrew Byakutaga who was accompanied by the BKK Chief AdministrativeSecretary Mr. Katusabe Alex.
Other CNOOC officials included Mr. Ma Peixin Vice President, Mr.Tian Yu, the CNOOC Corporate Affairs Advisor & Mr.
Zak Lubega, the Head of Corporate Affairs Department.
The meeting was also attended Mr. Juuko Richard, an undersecretary ministry of lands & Mr. Lwanyaga Ivan, the Principal Assistant Secretary, Office of the President.
The meeting discussed strategies of enhancing benefits of oil to the people of Bunyoro, best land management practices & increased government support to structures in Bunyoro subregion in order to improve on their capacity to empower people to benefit from the oil sector.
