A 3-year-old girl identified as Omuhereza Kusemerwa has been announced dead after involving in car accident along Kikuube-Kagadi Road last evening.
It is remembered that last evening at around 6pm a speeding a tax motor vehicle registration number UBE 843C knocked two children as they were crossing the Road in Kaitemba Village, Mabaale Sub County Kagadi district leaving one dead on spot and another in critical condition.
According to the Kagadi district Police Commander (DPC) ASP Steven Kamar, Omuhereza Ayesiga aged 4 died on spot and Omuhereza Kusemerwa aged 3 passed away in the wee hours of today morning at St. Ambrose Charity Health Center IV in Kagadi town.
He further appealed to the drivers to always be vigilant whenever they are driving.
ASP Kamar also encouraged Road users to always monitor both sides of the Roads before crossing to avoid being knocked by speeding Vehicles.
In related development, a Fuso truck registration Number UBF 864E which was carrying dry cassava has today involved in an accident along Buswaka road at Nyakitukuma River in Kyaterekera Sub County after over turning several times.
Fortunately, no death was recorded though one person is nursing wounds at Dr. John Clinic in Kyaterekera Town Council.
