The Police Squad Unit has recovered 7
suspected stolen motorcycles and 42 number plates in a series of operations in
West Nile Region.
Josephine Angucia, the West Nile Region Police Spokesperson, says the operation
was promoted by a tip off from Dokolo Police station about the theft of a
motorcycle registration number UEZ 231M on January 31st, 2020.
She says they launched an operation from January 31st, 2020 that ran up to
February 05, which led to recovery of the motorcycles and number plates.
According to Angucia, one of the motorcycles was recovered from the home of
Ronald Eriku, a resident of Kasua village in Pajulu Sub County in Arua
district.
