African rural university has carried out an exhibition of technologies with its products practiced both at ARU Campus and the epicenters in the various communities in preparation for the national exhibition organized by national council for higher education.
The Exhibition took place today at African rural university Campus at URDT in Kagadi town council, Kagadi district.
Speaking to our reporter, Dr. Bagenda Sengonzi a lecturer at African Rural University said they decided to showcase their products to the public in order to portray what they teach in preparation for national exhibition.
He further said that national council for higher education decided to organize an exhibition for all universities to showcase what they are teaching in preparation for the human resource capital for the 4th industrial revolution.
According to Charles Tumuhe, a researcher at African rural university said they are involving in making researchers in different sectors such agriculture, environment, ethanol medicine among others for new technology to the university and the public.
Meanwhile, the community members who attended African rural university exhibition appreciated their technologies and promised to use it in their homes.
All universities across the country will exhibit what they are teaching to students on 19th this month at Lugogo show ground in Kampala.
