MP, Musana donates food relief worth 7.25m to Kagadi district COVID-19 taskforce for tax drivers, boda-boda riders in Kagadi town council

The Buyaga east member of parliament Musana Eric Acaali has today donated food relief worth 7.25m to Kagadi district COVID-19 taskforce to be distributed to the  tax drivers, boda-boda riders who were affected by COVID-19 measures in Kagadi town council.

The food relief includes 1,500kgs of maize flour and 1000kgs of beans.

While handing over the food relief to Kagadi district COVID-19 taskforce at the resident district commissioner’s office, on behalf of the office of the Buyaga east member of parliament, Edward Asiimwe said MP, Musana decided to donate food relief to tax drivers, boda-boda riders saying they were affected by COVID-19 measures.

Edward Asiimwe said MP Musana has given free airtime for 60programs worth 18m at Paradigm FM for Kagadi district COVID-19 taskforce to sensitize the community on Coronavirus.

MP, Musana has also allowed, the Kagadi district COVID-19 taskforce to use the Ambulance he donated to Buyaga east constituency in case of emergency saying his office will provide fuel and the driver.

Receiving, the donation from the Buyaga east member of parliament Musana Eric Acaali, Lillian Ruteraho the resident district commissioner who is also the chairperson of Kagadi district COVID-19 taskforce appreciated the donation asking for more donation from good Samaritans.

Meanwhile, Dr. Olowo James who is the district health officer for Kagadi is optimistic that the donation of MP Musana will help the community and Kagadi district COVID-19 taskforce.
