Kagadi-Ndibwami B Yosia has been declared winner of the Kagadi district LCV election as the NRM flag bearer.
Ndibwami garnered 54,247 (55.6%) votes, defeating incumbent Stephen Byaruhanga Mfashingabo who obtained 431, 86 (44.3%) votes.
Ndibwami was declared winner at 11pm Friday by Mikisa John Chrysostom, the NRM registrar for Kagadi district at URDT Girls Tally Centre.
Ndibwami attributed his victory to the unique campaign strategy he exhibited.
After the results were announced, Ndibwami’s supporters took to the streets to celebrate their victory.
Some district councilors declared as flag bearers include ; Magezi Muwonge 2955, 57.04%- Muhorro TC, Mucunguzi Justus-1316, 51.95%,-Mairirwe sc, Twesige K John-944, 36.6%, Kyakabadiima s/c, Byamukama Vanansio 1278, 77.4% , Kanyabebe S/c, Tumusiime George William, 3116, 57.5%, Kagadi TC, Mugisa Peter Sebugwawo, 1306, 56.9%, Mabale S/c, Sebuliba Amos, 727, 76.5%, Kyanaisoke and Ziraba Peter, 1294, 75.5%, Kyenzige T/c.
Others are Ntambi Pius, 1094, 68.9%, Isunga SC, Mrs Kyaligonza Winnie, 1794, 68.3%, Mabala sc, Mugisa Tibanyiga, 1098, 58%, Kyanaisoke and Kamuroza sc, Margery Lwanga, Kyenzige,Nyirabajambere Keren,,5572, 78%, Mpefu sc and TC and Joan Babeiha, 2372, 50.8%, Kagadi TC and S/c
