Lawrace Egole, the Resident City Commissioner of Lira, has emphasized the crucial need for journalists to uphold professionalism amidst the propagation of dishonest practices on social media platforms.
Egole underscored this point during his address yesterday while inaugurating a two-day training session organized by Community Media Network Uganda (COMNETU).
The training aims to equip journalists from community radio stations with essential knowledge and skills in both marketing and editorial practices.
The workshop, which commenced yesterday, is scheduled to conclude today at ARMAFLEX HOTEL in Lira City.
