The production department of Kagadi district yesterday handed over a motorcycle worth 18m Shillings to the fisheries department to ease on their operations in the district.
The motorcycle registration number LG 0008/153 was given to them yesterday at Kagadi district headquarters in Kagadi town council, Kagadi district.
While officiating the handover ceremony, the Kagadi resident district commissioner (RDC) Lillian Ruteraho asked the sector heads to use the motorcycle to serve the appointed activities.
The Kagadi Senior fisheries officer Francis Gwazon says, their transportation to supervise fish mongers especially those who operations at different land sites have been made easier.
