Kibaale –The Burial of an 83-year-old man, Serwada Joseph Kairu alias Kaboy, on Wednesday turned chaotic, following a clash between the deceased’s children over what they termed as unequal sharing of property by their late father as he directed in the Will.
Serwada Joseph Kairu died on Tuesday after a long illness but a fracas ensued at his burial in Kamondo village in Nyamarwa Sub County, Kibaale district following a disagreement over why the deceased gave most of the assets to the children of the first wife Nanyonga Teddy (alive)
The deceased survived by 8 children and a wife.
However, the second wife, Maria Nakibuka, the mother of 5 children died.
Trouble started when one of the mourners Joseph Kusaba started reading the deceased’s Will indicating that the heir is Chrysostom Goroba, the last born from the second wife who was joined by his brothers insisting that most of the assets had been given to the children of Nanyonga.
