Bishop Kirabo urges health Scholars to give compassionate care to patients

The Bishop of Hoima catholic diocese, RT Reverend Vincent Kirabo Amooti has urged Health Scholars undergoing training to aim hard to be professionals of difference with compassionate while handling patients after their studies.

Bishop Kirabo says they should value the patients especially in the way they respond to them, the way of handling them and should avoid showing behaviors of their usual life which he says can jeopardize to achieve their goals. 

 
He made this call today while presiding over the holy mass at St. Ambrose Institute of Health Sciences located in Nankurabye Cell in Kagadi Town Council, Kagadi District.

Bishop Kirabo being his first time to visit the institution admitted that he is impressed by the deeds at the institution asserting that it has become the leading training Institution among others he has ever visited in the region.

Bishop Kirabo also laid foundation stone by launching officially the construction of the multi-Million 2 storied Dormitory for boys at the same institution.

Speaking to the proprietor of the institute, Rev Fr Joseph Birungi, says St Ambrose Institute of Health Science is aimed at training model health professionals with a difference.

Rev Fr. Joseph further says, they are working around the clock to have the institution opened officially which he says will be done in the future shortest period of time.

He says the institution which started on July 3rd 2019currently has 145 students offering two programs which include Certificate in Nursing and Midwifery.

Bishop Kirabo’s Visit was witnessed by different dignitaries from Kagadi District Local government, Religious leaders, Journalists and Students of the institution.

In his Speech, the LC5 chairperson Kagadi Stephen Byaruhanga Mfashingabo cherished the proprietor of the institute, Rev Fr. Joseph Birungi for supporting NRM Manifesto by supplementing on its goals.

The RDC Kagadi Lillian Ruteraho challenged the people of Kagadi and abroad to always fight hard to make permanent legacy that will sustain their names whether alive or dead.
