Kagadi district Coronavirus task force sets tough terms to fight against Covid-19

As one way of strengthening coronavirus watchful, Kagadi District Coronavirus task force have held emergency meeting and agreed on the tough terms to combat coronavirus while effecting presidential directives.

This comes after concerned people from the public reported to the District task force claiming that, they established in their areas some people who have been in Dubai, china and other countries where coronavirus has been confirmed.

Speaking to KKCR shortly after the meeting, Lillian Rutereraho the RDC Kagadi who doubled as the chairman for the meeting says, they have agreed on the core terms to help in the further spread of the Pandemic into the district.

Some of them include; holding brief meeting every after two days, tightening security on Uganda boarder’s lake shores, sensitization of the community members on being vigilant and ensuring that every boda-Boda carries one passenger among others.

The emergency meeting was held at Kagadi District Headquarters Council Hall in Kagadi Town Council where the participants maintained the required miter space as others were putting on masks.

Lillian also condemned acts of Mob Justice among the Public especially when they establish some people in their areas that could have been in countries where they have confirmed the coronavirus.

She further however, called up public to practice self qualitine to avoid the attack of the Pandemic.

During the same meeting Infectious Disease Institute pledged to donate Isolation tent that is to arrive in the District on Thursday this week.
