The Bishop of Hoima catholic diocese, Rt reverend Vincent Kirabo Amooti on Sunday evening received a warm welcome ahead of his 6th Episcopate Anniversary on Monday 28th February, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish Kagadi Vicariate in Kagadi district.
Bishop Kirabo was welcomed in a motor convoy from River Nkuse, at the border of Kagadi and Kikuube districts.
He was later led in a band procession through Kagadi town to Kagadi Vicariate.
He was received by Vicar of Kagadi vicariate Monsignor Peter Kaberenge, Reverend fathers, Christians and political leaders led by the Kagadi district chairperson, Hon.Ndibwami B Yosia among others.
Addressing Christians at Nkuse River, Bishop Kirabo thanked the people of Kagadi district for according him a warm welcome.
He asked the catholic believers to remain committed to their faith.
Bishop Kirabo who is celebrating 6 years on Monday 28th February he is expected to launch the drive to fundraise resources for the construction of a specialized modern hospital for women and children at the diocese headquarters in Bujumbula Division Hoima city .
He was Consecrated and Installed on February 28, 2016 in Hoima.
The Kagadi district chairperson Ndibwami B Yosia was among those who lined up at River NKuse to welcome the Bishop.
Ndibwami thanked the Bishop for moving Hoima catholic diocese forward since 2016.
The mass to mark the 6th Episcopate Anniversary for Bishop Vincent Kirabo will start at 9:30 am at St. Mary’s catholic parish, the headquarters of Kagadi vicariate in Kagadi district.
