Elicard Rwemera, the father of Hon. Barnabas Tinkasimire the Member of Parliament for Buyaga west constituency in Kagadi district has died at the age of 115.
Elcard Rwemera died on Monday afternoon on the way to Kampala for medication.
According to John Twesige, the political assistant to Hon Tinkansimire, preliminary burial arrangements indicate that the rains of Elicard Nkarwemera will take place on Thursday this week in Busoiga cell Muhorro town council in Kagadi district.
Twesige revealed that Mzei Rwemera has been battling malaria.
There is outpouring of sympathies with the MP social media with Kagadi district woman MP Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi among others saying the country had lost a hero, father, friend and mentor.
