Police in Kagadi district has registered a total of 1426 cases in the month of June 2022.
According to crime report released by SP Kiconco Moses Muzima the district police commander Kagadi, the district registered 337 theft cases,13 murder cases, 24 defilement cases, 328 Assault cases, 10 cases of threatening violence and 95 cases of domestic violence.
He released the crime report for June on Wednesday.
However, SP Muzima says there has been reduction of cases during the month of June compared to the previous months.
He has attributed the development to community policing and sensitization campaigns that have been extended to communities by police and the media.
