Kagadi-Kagadi District works department has launched construction of over 11 Roads in FY 2020-2021.
The launching kicked off on monday with the construction of a 15Km Lyanda-Kyaterekera- Wangeyo- Kasojo road worth 100m shillings.
Other roads include Mpeefu-Rubirizi- Rugarama, Kyanseke-Kamukole-Nabamunana, Rutete-Kiryarwanda-Nyabwejereka, Igayaza-Kyabasara-Kentomi, Kyabisulita-Kitemba-Kiryanga, Maberenga-Kaise-Katikengeyo, Kiranzi-Kiryakairu-Kiryanga-Nguse, Kyakabadiima-Hamuji-Burora, and Kyabasale-Kyakabadiima Mugalike roads.
According to the district communications officer George Gulyetonda, the function was graced by the RDC Kagadi Lillian Ruteraho, LCV Chairperson Byaruhanga Stephen Mfashingabo, Principal Assistant secretary Edward Bisangabasaija, and Technical staff among others.
The district councilor for Kyaterekera sub county, Alex Turyasingura appreciated Kagadi district local government for embarking on improving the road network.
